Trane AlumaTuff® Coils: the indoor coils of the other manufacturers include copper, steel and aluminum, all in contact with each other, resulting in frequent failure due to rust, corrosion and pin-hole leaks. AlumaTuff Coils are all aluminum, which completely eliminates those problems.

The Mini-Split systems are the most energy-efficient, air-source heating and cooling systems that we offer.   They are extremely quiet, reliable, efficient and, best of all, they are ductless.   This means that there is no duct work to leak, tear, wear out, or need replacing.   In addition to these advantages there is no heat gain or loss as you would experience with a conventional central HVAC system.

These systems are available in either Straight-Cooling or as Heat Pumps so they are suitable for the entire house in any climate.   The Inverter models do not operate at a fixed capacity as a normal HVAC system would.   Instead they are able to deliver only the heating and cooling you need for any particular area at any given time, meaning that they use only the amount of energy you need.

Geothermal Systems

If you have ever felt the warm air blowing from the top of your outdoor air conditioning unit in the summer, you have felt heat that the system removed from your home, leaving the indoors cooler. This heat is being discharged into the outdoor air. A geothermal cooling system removes heat from your home just like an ordinary system, but discharges the heat into a water loop. The water is circulated through pipes in multiple deep holes in the ground. The cool and abundant mass of the earth around these holes draws heat from the water, which returns to the unit to absorb more heat from the house. A geothermal system can cool and heat your home for 40-50% less than your current air conditioner.

Dehumidifiers

High humidity levels in your home can result in discomfort, higher energy bills and health problems. Maintaining relative humidity below 50% prevents mold and mildew growth, eliminates dust mites, inhibits bacteria growth and reduces out-gassing of volatile organic compounds. Yes, your air conditioner is a good dehumidifier, but only when it is running. If you truly want to control the humidity in your home all year long, a central dehumidifier will do the job. The air is drawn into the dehumidifier from anywhere in your home, possibly near a source of moisture. A cold heat exchanger causes the moisture to condense for discharge to a nearby drain. The air then moves through another heat exchanger where it is warmed with the waste heat from the refrigerant system, and is discharged into the central duct system for distribution throughout the house. A digital wall-mounted hygrometer regulates the system and displays the indoor relative humidity.

UV Lights

Rid your indoor coil of mold and bacteria, Ultraviolet light kills bacteria and mold growing on your indoor coil–before they are circulated throughout your home. Our state of the art UV lamp is installed near your existing indoor coil and works diligently to rid your home of the bacteria, viruses, mold and germs that impact your home's health.

Direct-Vent Furnaces

High Efficiency or HiE, specifies the efficiency of the air-handler, in specific, the fan motor arrangement. This feature is more energy efficient and allows for better air flow.

Two-Stage Air Conditioning

When running, most air conditioning units operate at maximum output. At night or on mild days this is too much cooling capacity, so the unit turns off soon after starting to cool. Besides being inefficient, the unit does not run enough to remove humidity indoors. A two-stage unit will run at a lower capacity until the space has too much heat, then switch to the higher cooling capacity. When operating in first stage (reduced capacity) the system is more efficient and will remove more humidity.
